This policy explains what personal data Funeral Director Solutions collects when you use funeraldirectorsolutions.ie, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Funeral Director Solutions is a trading name of My Farewell Wishes Ltd, based in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, Ireland. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@funeraldirectorsolutions.ie.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery/billing address, and payment details are collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your card details ourselves. If you customise a sign or cone sleeve, the company name, wording and any logo you upload are sent to us so we can produce your order and are attached to the confirmation email.
When you submit the enquiry form: we collect the name, email, phone number, products you're interested in, and message you provide, so we can reply to you.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not use cookies or any analytics/tracking scripts on this site.
How we use it
- To process and fulfil your order, including producing custom artwork and arranging delivery.
- To respond to enquiries you send us.
- To meet our own legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to contact you about something.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site, each of whom processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms:
- Stripe — processes all payments and card details.
- Resend — delivers our order and enquiry notification emails.
- Vercel — hosts the website and stores any logo you upload during customisation.
We don't share your data with anyone else, other than as required by law.
How long we keep it
Order and enquiry details are kept for as long as reasonably needed to fulfil your order, deal with any related query, and meet our accounting/tax retention obligations, after which they're deleted. Payment records are retained by Stripe under their own retention rules.
Your rights
Under Irish and EU data protection law, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it's wrong, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, email info@funeraldirectorsolutions.ie. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top will always show the latest revision.
